Justé – Urban Rebel PR Interview
Justė is a 23-year-old rising artist whose journey is defined by resilience and extreme determination to build a career in electronic music. Growing up in Lithuania, she relocated to Denmark after finishing school to experience life beyond her home country and discover herself. Through this journey, she found herself creating music and DJing, cementing her sound within a seamless blend of melodic techno and psy-trance – both powerful and emotionally charged, in touch with the body and mind through its progressive nature. Her releases include ‘World of Wonders’ and ‘Turn The Lights Off‘, which have amassed millions of streams across streaming platforms.
We spoke to Justé to find out more about her viral track ‘Turn The Lights Off’, her career and what she gets up to outside of music.
1. Firstly, tell us about yourself and your connection with music. When did you discover your love for production/DJing?
I’m 23 years old girl from Lithuania, now living in Denmark. I’ve always had a close connection to music, but since moving abroad I’ve really been focusing on my DJing and Production – with all the upcoming shows I’ve been spending most of my time behind the decks recently.
2. Justé, have you seen the viral video of Jon Hamm dancing to your song, ‘Turn The Lights Off’? If so, name a dance move you would pull out at the club with Jon Hamm.
Yes, or course I did! Probably I would close my eyes too and just stay in the moment, seems like a good way of forgetting about all the worries in my week.
3. You’ve had a number of amazing artists remix ‘Turn The Lights Off’. If you were to choose one more artist as a remixer, who would it be?
Yes and it’s been so good to have such a wide range of talent have their unique take on the track. For another remixer for the track, I think I’d have to pick David Guetta.
4. You’re a digital camera/Polaroid girly! What camera would you recommend a friend to start out with, and give us a top tip for taking the perfect picture?
I’d say start with something simple, like a Canon G7X or any easy-to-use digital camera; you don’t need anything too complicated in the beginning. My top tip would be to never seek for perfection. Sometimes, when the camera captures pictures in the real moments without too much planning, it turns out to be the best ones!
5. What is the best DJ set you’ve seen this year/ever, and why was it so memorable?
I just watched an incredible set that John Summit played on the Ultra Miami main Stage. It surprised me the way he adapted his set to the festival, really working his connection with the crowd. This is such an important part of putting on a good performance.
6. Outside of music, what other passions do you have/ how do you enjoy spending your time?
I’m passionate about doing sports like CrossFit, swimming, running and yoga. I also like to listen to audiobooks for personal development, meditate and spend time with my family.
7. Who is your dream back-to-back/collaboration?
My dream would be to collaborate with DJs like Afrojack and R3HAB. I loved watching the way they did this during their B2B set at Tomorrowland Winter 2026!
8. What have you got in the pipeline for touring? The world is your oyster!
Yes, it’s true, there are so many opportunities in this world once it opens for you! On my List there are many shows coming up in Denmark and abroad. Maybe some more radio tours in Europe to be continued too with our song.
9. What can we expect from Justé in 2026? More big tunes, I assume? 👀
Now we have been working on new releases, but our song “Turn The Lights Off” is still booming, so we’re taking our time with the next one. Hopefully, the next release is coming out soon!
10. Finally, let’s set the scene: you’re playing a sunrise set, everyone’s calling for ‘one more song’, what are you playing?
I would definitely play my song “Turn The Lights Off” – it’s the one that I’d hold until this very moment.
