French duo FDVM have performed at some of the world’s most respected events across the dance music calendar, taking their sound global at parties such as Coachella, Burning Man, Mysteryland, Woogie, Outside Lands and Opex Festival, while sharing the decks alongside artists ranging from Carl Cox, Andhim, Claptone and Watermat.
With an evolving catalogue of releases on imprints such as Ultra, disco:wax, Flamingo Recordings and Dirty Soul Music, accumulating around 30 million spotify plays on their work including highlight hits such as their most recent ‘Make It Right‘ and previous deep house offering ‘Brightest Light‘ the pair’s diverse musical output has gone on to provide them recognition from some of the industry’s top dance music figures such as Lost Frequencies, Robin Schulz, Klingande and Bakermat.
With a sound that can be described as happy and groovy, yet providing acoustic and authentic touches which make it stand out alongside signature deep house flavours – FDVM’s ability to meld together a unique, forward thinking sound has gone on to garner them a staggering degree of early success. Adding their growing ‘Supernatural’ Podcast into the mix featuring the likes of Martin Waslewski, Mickey, The Golden Pony, Tez Cadey and Nhan Solo – the label boss of Mother Recordings, and the duo continue to showcase their desire to push the music they are passionate about it new, enticing directions.
With the rest of 2017 taking them across New York, Paris and LA, along with another disco:wax offering on November 24th titled ‘Love Again’ providing more groove driven house with a signature melodic touch, FDVM continue to excite and evolve their musical output, with another release on the major Scandinavian imprint closing off another huge year for the duo.
