Insomniac Records

Insomniac, founded by Pasquale Rotella, is a leading American electronic music promoter and distributor, known for organizing iconic festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Beyond Wonderland, and Nocturnal Wonderland. The company also runs Bassrush, Basscon, and Dreamstate events, focusing on diverse subgenres of electronic music. Beyond festivals, Insomniac owns and operates nightclubs, including Exchange L.A., Club Space in Miami, and Echostage in Washington, D.C.

In 2014, Insomniac launched Insomniac Records, a co-branded EDM label in partnership with Interscope, and later took its A&R and distribution in-house, forming Insomniac Music Group in 2018. The company has expanded into digital spaces with SiriusXM’s Night Owl Radio and Insomniac Radio. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Insomniac adapted by streaming live sets and hosting virtual events. Known for emphasizing fan experiences over profits, Insomniac continues to push boundaries in the global electronic music scene.
