Immersed in music from a young age, Jacob Plant became inspired to create his own musical identity after listening to the likes of The Jam, The Clash, Linkin Park, and The Prodigy. Before trying his hand at electronic music, Plant learned to play the piano and guitar during school after which his focus was entirely on dance music. The musician’s debut output was the 2010 single “Basslines In”, which was released when the artist was a mere 18 years old. Plant subsequently released his second single “Jump Up” the same year and began honing his live performance skills in clubs and venues.

In 2013 Plant released the EP “Warehouse”, which featured the three tracks “Warehouse”, “Can’t Hold Back”, and “When I Say Go”. Plant subsequently issued the singles “Mosh Pit” featuring his MC Majestic, “Shakedown”, and “Fire” to popular reviews. On top of his own individual releases, Plant has become known for his commissions by high-profile artists to produce remixes including for Speakerbox, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah, Example, and Iggy Azalea. In 2014 the producer issued his sophomore EP “Louder”, featuring the tracks “Louder”, “Radar”, and “Tell Them”. The same year the DJ and producer made appearances at Reading and Leeds Festivals on top of Chicago’s Lollapalooza. Building on his momentum and expanding popularity Plant issued the single “Ice Cream” in January 2015, followed by the single “All Night” in March, and “Hunger” in August.
