Meet RESTRICTED, one of Australia’s quickest rising names who is gaining support from some of the industry’s biggest tastemakers and music labels. This 22 year older DJ/Producer has carved his signature style with influences from UK Bassline, Techno, and Hard Dance. 

In 2022 alone, Restricted amassed 50 million streams. This young beatmaker rapidly caught on after remixing the viral TikTok song ‘Captain’ which soon led to an official release on Warner Music Group’s label, Parlophone UK. Since then, he has dropped multiple remixes on TikTok that have gone viral across the platform including: “Big Jet Plane”, “Love Tonight”, and “Bonanza”. In this time frame he has released tracks with Spinnin’ Records, Sony Music, Musical Freedom, Atlantic Records and more. His music has been supported by the likes of Alesso, Zedd, and Timmy Trumpet on festival main stages across the globe. 

When not in the studio, Restricted can be found internationally and nationally, playing at some of Australia’s prominent venues and alongside acts such as Darren Styles, Will Sparks, Ben Nicky, Laidback Luke + many more. 

Restricted’s namesake is to break down the barriers between the underground and main stages, bringing minimal to the masses and making the EDM sub-genre both accessible and unrestricted. He is achieving this through a string of high-profile releases, a rapidly growing fan base, and an upcoming tour across Europe and Asia in 2023.
