Taao Kross is a DJ and electro house & progressive house producer living in Ibiza, who’s passion and enthusiasm behind the decks has made him one of Spain’s star talents and lead to a residency with Pacha Ibiza, where he has played for the likes of Steve Aoki and David Guetta’s infamous F*** Me I’m Famous parties.
The trademark Taao Kross sound can be attributed to his attention to detail, coupled with powerful beats and great melodies. This combination, as well as a new artistic direction, is primed to take Taao to a new musical level as he creates and explores new sounds to keep his fans guessing.
With a wealth of his releases already in the Beatport top 100, and while 2016 was a great year of releases for Taao, with music on the likes of S2 Records and Sirus Group, 2017 reached new heights with a hook-up with Otto Orlandi entitled ‘The Primitives’, landing on Armada Music offshoot Garuda and receiving support from artists such as Dannic, Kid Massive and Gareth Emery. His latest offering ‘Untouchable’ featuring Christina Novelli released via disco:wax to great support, fast becoming a summer anthem which received high profile DJ play across the globe.
Summer 2017 saw him complete his biggest and most exciting run of shows in Ibiza to date. From his residency at Bora Bora with his own party to playing Café Mambo to his residency at Pacha for David Guetta’s infamous F*** Me I’m Famous parties, Taao’s residencies on the island raised the bar for another hugely success Ibiza season. Taao’s sound has been taken across the globe, highlighted by performances in countries as far reaching as India, France, Belgium, Germany, Indonesia and Dubai and festival appearances at Parookaville in Germany and Medusa Sunbeach Festival in Spain, along with a huge performance at Tomorrowland Unite in Malta. Closing 2017 with highlight sets across Japan, Spain and the UK, and Taao’s touring pedigree continues to reach new levels of excitement globally. It is these bookings that have seen him share the DJ booth with the likes of David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Galantis, DJ Snake and Robin Schulz and established Taao Kross as an emerging spark in the dance music scene that is set to go from strength to strength in 2018.
