The Bausa

The Bausa, a three-piece dance/electronic act from Bærum, Norway, have been planting the seeds of success for some time now. Carefully and meticulously curating a sonic profile unique to their individual personalities by blending intricate elements of pop, funk, R&B and more, all while packaging into dancefloor-filling party anthems. In 2026, The Bausa found their lane and stuck within it.

The Bausa’s first release of 2026 marks a momentous milestone in their journey so far, serving as their first release in English and introducing a new sound: Scandi House. The two-song single features ‘Magnetic’ and ‘Addicted To Your Love’, two vibrant, summery, and incredibly infectious dance-pop records with vocal house draped throughout, ushering Norway’s most exciting trio into a whole new era of experimental dance production.

Live, The  Bausa have been drawing audiences of all ages to festival stages across Norway. On their Autumn/Winter 2025 tour, which held two sold-out shows at one of Oslo’s largest venues in Sentrum Scene, The Bausa played some of their biggest and best gigs yet. Having firmly established themselves on home turf, the trio are now setting their sights on an international scale. Bringing a live concept that merges a DJ set, band, and live vocals into one musical experience: Scandi House. Pushing beyond genre lines and creating a unique and captivating show for audiences worldwide.

The Norwegian trio debuted back in 2021, working to craft a sound that was true to them, before making their break with ‘Turné’ in 2023. The track earned them nominations for Song of the Year, Breakthrough of the Year and Party Music of the Year at Spellemann, Norway’s equivalent of the Grammys. Their previous work within their local circles have provided The Bausa with a platform on which they’re able to create the music they love.
