Hamburg producer and DJ Tjark Bellut, known as Wave Wave, operates fluidly between underground club infrastructure, and mass contemporary appeal. His sound sits at the intersection of melodic house’s emotional pull, tech house’s groove and indie dance’s aesthetic melancholy. Favouring tension, atmosphere and widescreen hooks, Wave Wave’s rapid rise from studio project to international touring name, lands with tidal force.

Releases on labels including Solomun’s Diynamic Music, Steve Angello’s SIZE Records, 1001 Recordings, Tomorrowland Music and John Summit’s Experts Only amplify Wave Wave’s pole position of a sound that confidently flirts between commercial dance and underground club culture. The young-gun DJ’s touring schedule accelerated quickly. Appearances at festivals and venues including Parookaville, Miami Music Week, Bootshaus, and Ibiza’s original super-club Pacha Ibiza established him as a DJ capable of scaling his melodic sensibility to peak-time environments.

In the last twelve months alone, Wave Wave’s momentum can be timestamped by a series of milestone. Not least including his crowning as one of 1001 Tracklists’ Future of Dance Artists of 2025, and launching Waterized Sessions, the visual reincarnation of his ever-popular Soundcloud radio show, laying the foundations for the project to expand at full-speed into 2026.
